💙 Today was so much more than a storytime. It was an beautiful experience at Barnes & Noble Tampa! 📚✨ Watching the children—and their parents—jump into the experience reminded me why I believe reading should never be just about reading the words on a page. Reading can be a journey. A conversation. A game. A moment to wonder. A chance to feel. A chance to connect. Today, the children didn’t just listen to Ahvian’s Emotions—they experienced it. 💛 We read together, colored, worked on puzzles, talked about feelings, and asked trivia questions that made little minds stop, think, remember, and share their ideas. And they were AMAZING! 🙌 Little hands went up. Voices answered questions. Eyes lit up when they got an answer right. And the excitement of earning a prize made learning even more joyful! 🎁✨ Then came the Magic Emotion Cape! 🪄🧡 The children put on the cape and stepped into an adventure where they could act out emotions, use their imagination, and explore how feelings can look, sound, and feel. This is the kind of learning I love. Because when children read + think + move + play + create + express, the story becomes something they can truly experience. 📖 Reading becomes an adventure. 💛 Emotions become something they can talk about. 🧠 Questions become opportunities to think. 🎨 Creativity becomes a way to express. 👨‍👩‍👧 And families become part of the learning. That is the heart of Ahvian The Creative™ Bilingual Series I want children to open a book and not simply ask, “What happens next?” I want them to ask: “How does this character feel?” “How would I feel?” “What would I do?” “Can I show you?” “Can we play it out?” Because sometimes, the most meaningful learning happens after we turn the page. 💙📚✨ Thank you to every family who joined me today. 🚀✨ What an amazing day at the American Space Museum! ✨🚀 Our event was filled with wonderful families, curious minds, and so many meaningful moments. 💙📚 Through Ahvian The Creative™, children explored stories, puzzles, drawing, and hands-on activities while learning about emotions and how to express their feelings. 💛 As we read, children participated by repeating words in English and then learning the corresponding Spanish words, discovering cognates and making connections between both languages. 🌎📖 They shared their own stories and experiences, talked about their feelings, practiced new vocabulary, and engaged with one another—all while naturally building their English and Spanish language skills through storytelling and play. It was beautiful to see how a story became a bridge between emotions, language, creativity, and connection. 💛💙❤️ A heartfelt thank you to the American Space Museum & Space Walk of Fame and Ms. Natalia Sepúlveda for this wonderful opportunity and for supporting children, literacy, creativity, bilingual learning, and language development. 🌟 This is what we are all about: creating joyful learning experiences where children can read, speak, create, express themselves, and discover connections between English and Spanish. ✨ 🚀 Where dreams take flight! #AhvianTheCreative #BilingualLearning #SocialEmotionalLearning #ChildrensBooks #americanspacemuseum
