The Fourth of July is a celebration of freedom, opportunity, and hope. For me, this special event at Barnes & Noble Colonial Plaza represented all of those values and so much more.

As someone who came to the United States without speaking English, I never imagined that one day I would be signing the bilingual children’s books I created in one of America’s most beloved bookstores. This moment reminded me of the opportunities this country has given me—to learn, to grow, to dream, and to give back through education.

Ahvian The Creative™ was created with one purpose: to empower children through stories that inspire imagination, nurture emotional well-being, and celebrate the beauty of learning in more than one language.
