Ahvian The Creative™ Featured on ABC News Tampa Bay 28 with Annette Gutierrez

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, ABC News Tampa Bay 28 highlighted Ahvian The Creative™ in its Hispanic Heritage Spotlight series. Reporter Annette Gutierrez explored how our bilingual learning tools are helping families embrace language, culture, and creativity.

From books and games to sensory activities and puppets, Ahvian The Creative™ is designed to bridge gaps for children learning in two languages. The series supports not only literacy, but also motor skills, emotional growth, and cultural pride.

The feature also spotlighted how professionals and families are using these tools in real settings:

“So many of our kids are bilingual or have parents and grandparents that only speak Spanish,” shared Tonina Llull, founder and clinical director of MPowerMe.

“If they feel like they’re playing, they’re going to learn more,” said Stephanie Cameron, occupational therapist at MPowerMe, emphasizing the power of learning through play.

Leeza De La Cruz Santiago described how her younger brother uses the interactive book during travel: “He’ll go ‘carro,’ and he’ll mix the Spanish and English words together. It’s super fun and interactive for him.”
